Roze will be performing at Esplanade from tomorrow onwards at 6.15pm at Concourse, sharing the same stage with Fathin Amira Zubir. Do check the poster for her timeslots.
The 3 days festival will also be having Sleeq, Rauzan Rahman, Richard J, Sheikh Haikel, Vanessa Fernandez and more.
An All Star 8lock Party will be held on Sunday 15th Aug at Esplanade Outdoor Theatre.

Cinta Puisi Berlagu Rehearsal Video
The video above was taken last weekend when the performers gathered for dry run, a week before the event which will be held this weekend! Warna DJ, Adi Rahman will be hosting and recite poetry by Masuri SN and Khadijah Hashim, with performances of new songs by Hyrul Anuar, Roze and Kalysa all geared up for Cinta Puisi Berlagu happening at Recital Studio, Esplanade.
Roze will be performing ‘Harum’ in acoustic and a number from Sheila Majid, while Hyrul will be performing ‘Sesebuah Perubahan’, a new song taken off his album with the same title, as well as several covers. Also, introducing, Kalysa who will be presenting a few songs, one of which is their original ‘Senyum’ which will be released in the airwaves, soon we heard.
CDs by Hyrul and Kalysa will also be available for sale and you may also get the opportunity to meet Adi, Roze, Hyrul and Kalysa for an autograph and photograph session after the event. Only for ticket holders.

Found this image that tagged Syarif Sleeq on Facebook by a “Haru Huru Hara” in an photo album titled ‘1st RCC MPAC Performance’. It’s not weird that Syarif Sleeq is with Aliff Aziz, as we learnt that they are serving the nation in the same camp.The fact that they’re wearing the same thing is something worth sharing and we all can wonder together what happened on stage that night! Sangat Teachers’ Day performance. Anybody got a video of this performance?

Cinta – Puisi Berlagu is a celebration of love.
Fronting this performance is Adi Rahman, a producer/presenter with Radio Warna who will be reciting poetry by Khadijah Hashim and Masuri SN. Adi will be joined by local singers Hyrul Anuar and Roze with their renditions of new and evergreen songs such as ‘Sesebuah Perubahan’ taken off Hyrul’s recently launched album, while Roze will be performing her single, now in Ria Charts, ‘Harum’ and Sheila Majid’s ‘Dia’. Also introducing new band Kalysa who will be performing their own ‘Senyum’ and ‘Setia’ (originally by Jikustik)
Cinta – Puisi Berlagu is presented under Pentas, Esplanade’s programme series that presents accessible Malay programmes outside of Esplanade’s annual cultural festival, Pesta Raya – Malay Festival of Arts. This helps meet the needs of the Malay community’s growing demand for quality Malay productions. The series presents various Malay art forms such as dance, music and theatre as well as concerts by community groups.
This will be a 75minutes programme with no intermission.

As Sriwana celebrates it’s 50th Anniversary, ‘Doaku Harapanku’ gathers artistic excellence from SRIWANA’s cream of choreographers, namely, Osman Hamid, Hjh. Som Said – both Cultural Medallion recipients, Fauziah Hanom Yusof, Fauzi Anwar – budding and promising in-house choreographers and many more will be graced by strong and talented pool of 50 SRIWANAs’ dancers both existing as well as dancers before.
Significant highlights include Sukarji Sukarman; a dance choreographer from Indonesia who possesses widespread experience and prestige in the dance community since 1984, and Fauziah Hanom Yusof – Sriwana’s very own-bred dancer turned choreographer had been instrumental in the artistic development of the group’s performance especially so in the last 5 years.
A special appearance of the members of the alumni will combine with the existing dancers, to bring back mesmerizing memories of their early days with the group – a nostalgic trip down memory lane.
Other special appearances include Sri Mahligai, the famous traditional ensemble who had been accompanying the group in few of her major productions and had never failed to live up to his name and Tengku Ryo Riezkan, another reknown leading Indonesian violinist.
The majority of the television personalities and celebrities in this field are largely from Sriwana. Drama icons, Norsiah Ramly and Azman Shariff will also be performing for the first grand dance musical production. This tragedy and thriller was written by Cultural Medallion recipient Nadiputra.

Remember Fathin Amira of Singapore Idol 3? Fathin won Talent Quest at the age of 15 and clinched the top 9 spot at Singapore Idol 3 a year later. Fathin will be performing for Incub8ion on 13th and 14th August at The Concourse, Esplanade, alongside with Roze Kasmani. Meanwhile, her father, singer, Zubir Abdullah will also be performing for a separate showcase, Cinta Cipta Ciptrasa on 8th August at Recital Hall, Esplanade.
