The boys recently performed for Rentak Singapura jointly organised by Ria & Warna, at D’Marquee alongside with legendary J Mizan, where they did a remake of ‘Hari Ini Dan Semalam’. Well done!
To catch Sleeq this month, come on down to Esplanade Upper Concourse on Saturday 14th August. Their slot will be happening at 8.15pm, an hour and a half after Roze’s.

Above is the sneak preview of Hyrul’s new single, ‘Salahkan’ written by Reyza Hamizan/ Imran Ajmain and composed by Imran Ajmain/Khairafik Khairudin. The song have been picked by the radio as Ria’s new track. That will automatically allow listeners to start requesting the song from this week onwards.

Wawan & Chirul at Cakap Pasal Remaja ditulis oleh Gumbira none Komen
By kind invitation from MUIS, Wawan and Chirul (from Anugerah 2009) got to grace the stage at the opening of Cakap Pasal Remaja Episode 1 at the Singapore Islamic Hub recently. Wawan sang “Indah” and Chirul sang “Setulus Kasih”. Both songs are their first singles coming off Gumbira’s compilation album with Mediacorp titled “Alunan Kasih”.

When was the last time you heard of a Malay all-girl group? Here’s one from Singapore. They were signed to Alibi Music earlier this year and this was taken during the Alibi Cosmic Concert at Wisma Bentley. Their song “AM PM” written by Cat Farish is currently playing on Malaysian radio. Recognize the girls from Suria Channel’s “Cinta Ixora”? You might want to find out more here at their Facebook page.

You haven’t seen talent until you’ve seen Sleeq’s songs done by this guy who multiplied himself by nine (on video, that is). We’ve seen the R&B and pop covers on YouTube a-plenty, but this is probably a local Malay first for us.

The song ‘Tetesan Air Cinta’ by Fuad Rahman and Azrin (Raffat Gucci & Sonny JS) is the theme song for Nora Wedding Concepts airs on Suria Channel every Wednesday 9:30pm.
It features Nik Mikhail, Ariati Tyed Papar, Elfaezah Ulhaq, newcomer Hirzi Zulkifli (we’ll tell you more about this dude soon!), Lydia Norman, Taufik Salleh, Ashmi Roslan, Seri Wahyuni Jaes, Faizal Ramli, Azzah Fariha, Siti Khatijah (have you checked her out on Awan Awan?) The show kinda reminds us of ‘Renjis’ on Astro.
The show is produced by DV Studios, commissed by MDA for Suria.
