‘Kpak Bing Bing’ will be launching it’s roadshow to kickstart the year with Najip Ali and Cik Sal welcoming married couples to join in an informative and productive afternoon. Produced by DuaM, this programme have reached its third year in their effort to create awareness of fostering ties in maintaining healthy family institution through entertainment with support by Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports (MCYS)
Meet Najip Ali and Cik Sal at NTUC Club Downtown East this weekend, 7th March at 4pm. Free Admission for all. Also performing Eka Mairina.
We hope to see Kpak Bing Bing Season 3 soon on TV!

Suria Elektra closed it’s curtain with glam and sparks, making it a night to be remembered, with over 60 performing artistes, faces we haven’t seen for the longest time, especially with the presence of Prime Minister, Mr Lee Hsien Loong and Mrs Lee.
Among the many familiar faces include Aaron Aziz, Nick Mikhail, Shahril Wahid, Sofian Roslan, Shah Iskandar, Suhaila Salam, just to name a few. The Red Carpet which was recorded prior to the LIVE show was a great start.
Backed by live strings, directed by Amri Amin, the show featured performances by Kunjung and Eka Mairina, Sleeq and Maiya Rahman, Taufik Batisah, Hady Mirza, and ended with ‘Menggenggar Dunia’ by Fauzie, Hyrul with Maiya.
Our excitement when Rancour started ‘Teratai’ was shortlived. It would have been great if the lead singer, Had, were to join Eiss in a vocal battle, before the grand introduction by Papa Rock, Ramli Sarip. Rancour played too small a role in that big performance. And where was Fuad? Nonetheless, Ramli brought the house down.
The catwalk by the cast of upcoming dramas on Suria seem pretty bland, and a little out of sorts when their names were not announced or did not even flash on the screen behind. Welcome back Norfasarie!
‘Gumbira’s Best Segment’ goes out to Sarah Aqilah for her sexy rendition of Mulan Jameela’s ‘Makhluk Tuhan Paling Sexy’ and of course, hands down, Dato’ Siti Nurhaliza. Highlight of the Evening goes out to Anang for his endless gaze towards Sarah and, I’m sure, you saw the way he held her hand for tad too long – a great attempt, we must say, making up for the blunder he did for his first song ‘Separuh Jiwaku Pergi’. Oops!
Overall, Syabas Suria for their 10th Anniversary! Kudos to the entire production team for the great event!

Publicity for this event have started several days ago with great artistes lineup, all set for Glitz and Glamour.
Hosted by Ogy Ahmad Daud, with appearances by Hady Mirza, Revalina, Sleeq, Zaibaktian and several other stars, Selebriti seems to be eager to kickstart the new year with a big bang, even before it started. Malay Artistes Association is also expected to be launched on that day.

Anugerah boys 2005 made platinum sales for the Anugerah Kau Bintangku vcd. First ever local Malay sell-out concert at Max Pavillion and massive support for promo at East Point and Orchard Point. This was the turning point of Anugerah. New brand, New look, Better prizes with more sponsors! Many Malaysians (especially) thought 2005 was the first time Anugerah was being organized in Singapore. Due to the phenomena created in 2005, vast improvements have been made in the prizes offered for the following years.

Aliff Aziz was the first winner of Anugerah to get a recording contract deal from an international label. He made his mark in Malaysia with his hit single ‘Sayang Sayang’ under SonyBMG. The singer known for his ‘whispery’voice, was first spotted at Suria Raya Carnival bazaar where he entered a singing competition with his sister, in which he lost to her.

Shah Iskandar, Yuzaimi (Rancour) and Haizad Imram used to be from the Cleo’s 50 Most Eligible Bachelor; of different years. Mr ‘Hair-some’ Shah Iskandar also won Mr ‘Sungguh Hot’ organized by Sungguh.com. Some guys love to be in pageants too. Well, Aaron Aziz was from Manhunt and Cleo too!

Most of the champions used to/still reside at Yishun – Suhaini Anuar, Hyrul Anuar, Huda Ali and Rancour.
Hyrul Anuar, Huda Ali, Suhaini Anuar, Hazlina Halim (TGIF), Kelly Poon (Project Superstar winner) were from the same secondary school, Yishun Town Secondary School. Hyrul Anuar and Kelly Poon would still receive invites to perform or attend any of the school concerts/events. Hazlina and Hyrul were bestfriends since secondary one where both of them were in the Student Council. We Will Excel!
